If you're reading this message, then I assume Rowan was successful at transferring it to you. I have a severe distaste for the circulation desk, so please forgive me for not handling the matter in person.

I want to thank you for the generosity you've shown me today; unfortunately, my responsibilities here prevent me from adequately expressing my appreciation in a similar fashion, so I do hope you won't think too poorly of me for leaving so abruptly.

I propose we arrange another meeting- Sunday evening at the cafe is a convenient time and location for me, so I hope to see you there. I look forward to repaying your...extreme kindness.
